LinkedIn Machinery Safety Forum Machinery Safety, Regulations and Standards for CE/UKCA

It is a forum for technical discussions about the interpretation and use of the EU Machinery Regulation and Directive 2006/42/EC, the closely related UKCA regulations, related harmonised standards, and machinery safety in general.

It also covers the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 which replaces Directive 2006/42/EC on machinery. The Regulation applies from 20 January 2027. However, some rules already apply on earlier dates such as the requirements for notified bodies (14 January 2024).
