From July 16th 2021 if you supply machinery or products requiring CE Marking, you will need technical documentation held in the EU by an importer, fulfilment centre or Authorise Representative. https://holdtechfiles.eu/authorised-representative.

I asked the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Department why they believe that if the the UK leaves the EU, we should adopt a UK Mark instead of CE Marking. I got this reply, which answers no questions whatsoever… 190121 CE Marking After Brexit Derek Coulson

The UK CA mark should now be used in UK. See Press Articles. UK Marking. Please Note: UK CA Marking was introduced, however the UK Government have agree to continue to accept CE marking for the foreseeable future.
